Take your time and spend several days in the Engadine
Sun, summer, warm temperatures – don’t be fooled, the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships will be here before you even know it. Just 222 days to go until the Opening Ceremony, shortly afterwards the first world champions will be announced; Patrick Küng will want to defend his title as Downhill Champion 2015, Lara Gut will be eager to get gold after she had to make do three times with silver. So many stories, so many thrilling outcomes. And only those who are in the midst of things will feel these incredible emotions, the drama, the cheers. But why only plan a visit of one day? Because these World Championships are far more than two downhill races: a total of eleven contests are lined up. The Team Competition has its very own powerful format, the Super Combination has gained enormously in importance and drama thanks to great all-rounders such as Gut and Hirscher, Svindal and Vonn.
The Organizing Committee offers attractive and clearly structured ticketing options which take all kinds of requirements into account and reflect the variety of the World Championships. These options invite you to stay longer in the Engadine and to discover its charms. The „Ski WM Special“ includes hotel accommodation for between two and seven days plus three tickets for the World Championships that can be used on days chosen by the ticket-holders themselves. A ski pass is included as well as the free use of public transport in the Upper Engadine for the entire duration of a “Ski WM Special” stay.
