A Night at the Museums
When the hands burn from clapping and the voice croaks from cheering, a little World Championships-break surely is the right thing. Relax at a nightly museum visit - or visit more than one right away! On Thursday February 16, five museums of St. Moritz will be open between the hours of 6pm to 10pm - the entrance is free.
The museum night invites you to enjoy a pleasant trip around the cultural side of St. Moritz. Nowhere can you find so many beautiful museums as here in the Engadine - we think so at least. Here you can find the Flyer!
In the Museum Engiadinais, visitors experience 500 years of Engadine home life culture and history. At 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm you can take part in a short guided tour. In the Forum Paracelsus you dive into the bathing culture of the city of St. Moritz. Also to discover: The works of the Alpine painter Robert Berry in the Berry Museum.
At the reception area of the Segantini museum apple punch will be served and a home made bacon bread is waiting for you to be tasted. At 6pm and 8pm you will be taken on a guided tour through the exhibition of the Segantini museum.
And for those of you who just can’t get enough of sport, you can go to the Dokumentationsbibliothek at the Schulhausplatz to see a historic film about the World Championships in 1934 and the Winter Olympic Games of 1928 and 1948, all held here in St. Moritz.
