Athletes competing at the Engadin St. Moritz ULTRAKS on 4 July 2015 in Pontresina can expect a choice of three individual courses with different altitude profiles. The shortest distance, the "Pitschen" with a distance of 16,3 km leads along loop A, starting from Pontresina below the Piz Muragl to Alp Languard and further onwards to the Segantini alpine hut, before completing the loop in front of the Rondo in Pontresina. The "Media"-course with a distance of 30,1 km describes loop B. It starts in Pontresina and leads out into the mountain regions of Piz Rosatsch and Piz Surley. Athletes will pass the Roseg with a beautiful view of the near-by Corvatsch, before heading towards St. Moritz and the St. Moritz lake, which is nestled along the route of the race course. The "Grand"-course combines both courses with a distance of 46,4 km. It allows for the athletes to pass through the center of Pontresina and past the supporters in the event zone, cheering on the participants for round two.
